We supported a team of graduate students from Wageningen University by connecting them with GLP-1 patients in the U.S. to complete a food survey. Their research focused on creating meal solutions designed to reduce side effects and improve nutrition for people taking GLP-1 medications. By sharing the survey with our community, we helped ensure patient experiences and real-world feedback shaped their academic work.

We helped Reuters connect with GLP-1 patients to highlight real-world struggles with affordability and access. These voices brought depth and urgency to their national coverage, ensuring that the human impact of policy and pricing shifts was impossible to ignore.

We collaborated with I-MAK by helping connect patients willing to share their lived experiences with barriers to GLP-1 access. Their stories added a vital human perspective to I-MAK’s data-driven report, which exposes how pharmaceutical patent tactics delay lower-cost alternatives from reaching patients. By bringing patient voices into the conversation, we helped highlight the real-world consequences of patent thickets and why reform is urgently needed.

We collaborated with WIRED by helping connect patients willing to share their experiences as compounded GLP-1 access came to an abrupt end. Their stories illustrated the human cost of shifting FDA policy, insurance denials, and manufacturer pricing, showing how quickly patients can be left scrambling when affordable alternatives are taken away. By grounding the article in real-world patient voices, we helped highlight the urgency of sustainable, affordable GLP-1 access and the risks patients face when forced into unstable or unsafe options.
