The FDA Postponed Their Decision: Here’s Why That’s Good News and How You Can Help

he FDA has postponed its decision until December 11, 2024, and we couldn’t be more thankful. This delay gives us a critical window to build more support, share our stories, and push harder to ensure the FDA hears us loud and clear.

Find out more on the FDA’s role in GLP-1 access here.

We’ve already made incredible progress.

IN JUST 3 DAYS, our petition has gathered over 6,500 signatures — all thanks to you.

Every one of you who has signed, shared, or donated is part of something bigger, and I can’t thank you enough.

A Plea for Help from a Loving Daughter

This isn’t just about the patients; it’s about the community supporting them, and that’s where our strength lies.

What’s Happening Now

  1. Reaching out to APC:
I’ve reached out to the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding (APC) to ask for their support. We’re working to help them help us protect affordable compounded GLP-1s.

  2. Instagram Outreach:
I’ve started an Instagram account to connect with influencers who can reach a wider audience.

  3. Media Attention:
I’ve contacted one news outlet so far and aim to gather enough signatures to make this story impossible to ignore.

  4. Videos for the Petition:
Change.org needs 5 impactful videos showing why affordable GLP-1 medications are essential and what it would mean if they were no longer an option. If you’d like to share your story, please reach out — it could make a huge difference.

  5. Highlighting Stories:
I’m working on an article to show how these decisions impact real lives. Your story can help bring much-needed attention to the people directly affected. Right now, there’s not enough focus on the human side of this issue — we need to make this movement personal and impossible to ignore.
